About Me
I've learned that I don't experience hobbies casually. When something genuinely captures my interest, it becomes part of my life. I love pursuits that offer a lifetime of learning—where there's always another artist to discover, another story to uncover, or another piece of history waiting to be found. For more than twenty years, that passion was the Grateful Dead. Today, it's paperweights.
What draws me to paperweights isn't their monetary value. It's the artistry, craftsmanship, history, and the feeling they create. I still find myself amazed that a single piece of glass, sometimes over a century old, can stop me in my tracks. I have tremendous respect for the artists who dedicate their lives to creating these works, and I consider it a privilege to learn about their craft and share that appreciation with others.
Whether you're a longtime collector or discovering paperweights for the first time, I hope The Online Paperweight Shop becomes a place where you find something that inspires the same sense of wonder that first drew me into this remarkable art form.
