Peter Holmes Emperor Selkirk Glass 1983

Designed by Peter Holmes for Selkirk Glass in 1983, “Emperor” features an abstract arrangement of large, silvery bubbles surrounded by smaller bubbles and smoky blue-violet forms. A deep burgundy ground with fine, pale speckling provides a rich backdrop, while the clear glass dome magnifies the layered design and reflective details. Pictures don’t do justice and it absolutely pops in natural light. 89/500
